PTA welcomes and encourages all parents to become active and participating members. PTA needs parent volunteers to help plan, prep, and participate in a number of events and activities. If you wish to come to a PTA meeting they are held the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 a.m. starting September 6th.

Our Annual "Change for Change" drive runs through the whole month of May. This money will go towards paying off the new playground big toy. The PTA General Membership meeting is Friday, May 2nd from 5:30 - 6:00pm. Following the meeting the doors will open (at 6:00) for the PTA sponsored Sock Hop. Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun at the Sock Hop. Friday May 16th at 2:00 there will meeting about the new playground with the district and Play Creations. On June 7th from 9:00am-9:00pm stop by Barnes and Noble and for Book-Fair Saturday. The next Saturday, June 14th, swing by Clear Creek and buy some wonderful items at the PTA rummage sale for the playground. If you would like to volunteer at the rummage sale please contact Ginger Thompson at CCPTA@Yahoo.com. Have you been saving Tyson Project A+ labels? If so send them in to your child's class. The school will receive 27 cents for each label. May 12th PTA is bringing a performance of "Peter and the Wolf" to Clear Creek. Please try to make sure your child is at school that day so they can enjoy the performance. Here are a few of the things our CC PTA helps sponsor and benefit ALL of our students at Clear Creek… Assemblies, Music Grants, Box Tops, Book Fairs (Spring and Fall), Community Outreach, P.E, Math/Science Fair, Reflections, Young Authors, Reader's Choice Award Program, 6th Grade Graduation, Yearbook, Fundraisers, Staff Talent Shows, Accelerated Reader Program, Safety Patrol, Teacher/Staff Appreciation Events, Carnivals, Destination Imagination, Reader Board in front of school, Playground Equipment, and Gold Acorn Awards. |

Our PTA (Parent Teacher Association) consists of parents and teachers of the Clear Creek community. We encourage student achievement and enrich the learning environment. We believe in building partnerships between our families and our school.

CCPTA is currently working with our School District to approve our future playground plans. Once this process is complete the plans for our future playground will be posted on the PTA wall near the front office.
Please keep checking back for future updates. With your help and support we hope to start our first phase summer of 2008, for first phase completion Sept 08.
