Dear Clear Creek Families,

Welcome to the 2007-08 school year.  I look forward to seeing many familiar faces as well as meeting new friends.

The staff of Clear Creek invites you to become an active partner in your child’s education.  Our staff shares the same goal with you as parents ~ The academic and social success of your child.  As part of the team we invite you to come to school at any time and participate in school activities.  We encourage you to ask your specific questions about their day, who their friends are, and the choices they made that contributed to their success that day.  An active partner is one that takes an interest by asking questions, looking through a backpack or binder, and encouraging a child each day to do their best. 

Our core values of HONOR, COURAGE, and COMMITMENT (shared with the U.S. Navy) are incorporated into our school environment.  We believe that each person should be taught and held accountable to act in a safe and socially acceptable manner.

In every situation we must be respectful and take responsibility for our actions.  We are held accountable for our choices and celebrate when students are able to solve problems appropriately.

Your child’s academic success is very important to us.  Please keep in close contact with your child’s teacher about your child’s strengths and areas of improvement.  Clear Creek offers a variety of support services to assist in areas that may be difficult.  Teachers write informative newsletters that tell you what is happening and what your child has been learning in the classroom.  Your child’s teacher can be reached from 8:15-9:00, and from 3:30-3:40 daily.  A message can be left at anytime and your phone call will be returned as soon as possible.  The staff does not take parent calls during the instructional day unless it is an emergency.
